Past President Govind is actively working to set up a Rotaract Club.

This material that will go out to past Interactors but can also go to any young person who might be interested.
If you are able to pass this on to any young people who you think might be interested in becoming a foundation member of a new club that would be gratefully appreciated.

Pakuranga Rotary Club would like you to consider the exciting possibility of either extending your Rotary experiences - or starting  them - by joining a Rotaract Club with the purpose of serving the needs of communities both local and further afield.

What can Rotaract do for you?
  • .For those of you active in an Interact club at the moment it will give you and your friends a chance to continue the amazing work you have been doing in the service of others.
  • For ex-Interactors it will provide for the possibility of reconnecting with people who share your passion for service – more Serious Fun. Also of course there will be new friendships to foster.
  • For anyone – a chance to develop and strengthen organizational and personal skills as you choose projects and design ways to complete them and meet your goals.
  • Give you a much better understanding of the role of Rotary as an international aid organization and even, if inclined, consider participation in international projects
If you are interested in attending a preliminary meeting to talk over these possibilities please email Peter Woodcock at peterjwoo@xtra.co.nz.  With your contact details and a brief description of your current situation. When we have enough to start planning, we’ll be in touch with a date.
