PRESIDENT ELECT GOVIND PANI
President Elect Govind provided us with details at our last meeting of his background, family and an impressive business career in international property development. Born in India, after obtaining a B.Com from Loyola College in Madras Govind joined the world of commerce and finance and has built up extensive experience in engineering, hotels and apartments, property development and financial management. He has worked throughout Asia, the Middle East and for Australian and New Zealand companies.
He and Sandhya’s three children have all completed or are completing tertiary education.
Sandhya, after operating a Ceramic Studio, is now occupied with her naturopathy clinic and writing for magazines.
Govind still has time to not only indulge his passions such as horticulture and cricket but to write books about his parents and assist charitably the Annaswamy School and Hospital in Bangalore. His talent and warmth and family support will undoubtedly make for a stellar year as our President.
