An Annual General Meeting is a very important session when we learn how the Club has been operating financially over the last year and also give us an indication of our future performance. We need to discuss the financial position of the Club and look forward to a good performance for the year ahead.

To add to this we will hear from our RCL and Past President Govind Pani who will explain his progress in the role so far this Rotary Year. To remind you about this new role, below is an explanation of what it is all about. Also don't forget to check below if you have a responsibilty at the meeting!

A Rotary Community Leader (RCL) is a volunteer who mentors and facilitates collaboration among Rotary clubs within a Rotary Community Group to enhance community impact, membership growth, and member experience.
Role and Responsibilities:
Rotary Community Leaders guide and support clubs within newly formed Rotary Community Groups (RCGs), which are collections of clubs connected by geography, interest, or projects to amplify their impact.
Key responsibilities include:

Mentoring and Inspiring Clubs: RCLs coach club leaders, provide guidance, and encourage collaboration to achieve both club and community group goals
Facilitating Collaboration: They help clubs work together within the RCG and across other groups to maximize community impact and create larger-scale partnerships with government, corporates, NGOs, and other stakeholders.
Supporting Growth and Member Experience: RCLs assist clubs in membership growth, improving public image, and enhancing the overall experience for members
Connecting to Resources: They link clubs to the Regional Council, Rotary Specialist Network, and Rotary International for advice, training, and support.
Regional Coordination: RCLs collaborate with other RCLs and District Governors to ensure smooth implementation of the regionalisation model and share best practices.
