Subject: My Life in the News Media
Phil has spent 35 years in the news media in New Zealand, the United Kingdom and Chile. He will touch on the new era of Times Media under Bo Burns' ownership. What they do. How They do it.
He has worked in media in East Auckland for the past 20 years, including voluntarily at East FM community radio for 16 years. Phil has offered to answer any questions about news stories/subjects that have been of great public interest over the past 20 years, especially on this patch and maybe explain what happened on those occasions plus how the stories get put together.
It will be a great time to understand the life of an active journalist , author & radio announcer, living and working in our area.
