On Thursday past member Sylvie arranged a visit to Panmure Bridge School to have a tour of the school and support the schools "Pink Ribbon" fund raising morning tea.
Two projects that were fully or partially funded by Rotary and the Johnson Trust were the stand alone room for SWIS - Social Worker in Schools and a series of outdoor table/ seating that were being used b lots of kids when we were there and which have a plaque recognising Rotaries contribution on them.
Visiting these schools reinforces just how hard many teachers and principals work and the on-going drive to give all kids regardless of their family circumstances the best possible opportunities.
