After a mountain of work, both paper and physical, our annual Rotary and Council River Carnival was a great success.
Helped by fine weather and with an estimated total attendance of 4000 the four hours ran like clockwork.
None of that happens with out a wide array of volunteers including the club members who turned out in force, volunteers from Highbrook Rotary, Howick & Pakuranga Scouts, the Pakuranga Sailing Club, Interacters from Pakuranga College and Inner Wheel
Aggreko once again set up the generators & power boards and provide great service.
Despite a multitude of attractions the long lines at the many popular activities and the many positive responses from visitors showed just how well attended the festival was and what a positive addition it is to the local calendar. What price can you put on a community coming together to have fun?
