On Monday night Peter Armstrong, founder of a network provisions company Reivernet, outlined how the business introduced changes to meet the challenges posed by the disruption to business that Covid created.
Providing internet services to over 150,000 hotel rooms across over 730 hotels in 34 countries the business was challenged by the drop in revenue that occurred when Covid played havoc with peoples travel plans and their subsequent use of hotel rooms.
The solution was to look to link in with the existing N4L [Network for Learning] system. N4L is a  New Zealand crown company that connects all schools and kura across New Zealand to safe and reliable internet through their managed network. What was surprising to many was the speed at which the crown engaged with Reivernet and the very time short between contact being made with the Minister and a better system for students working from home in place.
