Guest Speaker: Donna Brown

Donna explains: "I had always wanted to be a mother.  Finally, I welcomed my son Quinn in 2016, I was elated.
Three months later my life changed and I became seriously ill.  I was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis and found myself in a health system that offered me no relief, plan, or treatment.
Through my despair I spent hours searching for some hope.  Finally, I found a treatment not offered in New Zealand, and not funded. I raised 100 thousand dollars, left my baby, and flew to Moscow where I underwent five weeks of intensive treatment called Autologous Haematopoietic Stem Cell Transplant.
This is my story and the story of over 100 other kiwis who left New Zealand to access a life changing treatment."
