 Bula, Bula everyone! I have the exciting task of promoting our District Conference to be held at the amazing Sofitel Resort on Denarau Island, Fiji, from Friday 6th April 2018 through to Sunday 8th April. Knowing that some of you already are thinking and planning your next year’s travel, I thought it timely to slot in these dates for you to consider. As you all know, the Pakuranga Rotary has a very good record for winning the attendance trophy and this time we have a huge bonus as travel distance comes into the formula. Conferences are always a highlight on the Rotary calendar for great fellowship, fun, and the opportunity to meet other Rotarians and partners from other clubs in our district. Obviously, attendees may well want to extend their pre-winter holiday by staying on another island before or after the conference. Remember that our NZ dollar actually buys FJD$1.37. Hope you can attend the Conference and support President Dave and Liz. Vinaka! |
